I regularly speak during workshops, conferences and lectures about the impact of the 4th Industrial Revolution on the Agri & Food chains. From greenhouse to cash register, from seed to chop. Innovation broker Digital Transformation Topsector Horticulture & Raw Materials

As the director of Fresh Informationmanagement Center, I was active for multiple years to help with the digital transformation within companies and education. I also helped to shape the Top Sector innovation program (PPS). 

Horticulture 4.0 but then… 

I co-developed a program for one of the great Dutch cooperatives in sales of hard en soft fruit to put technological innovation on the agenda for both employees and members. Structurally we work on examples in practice (it can, from unconscious to conscious) as well as actively looking for a new generation of employees who can help the company and growers to take the next step.  

 

From what do we have to what do we need…

For one of Dutch High Tech companies in horticulture technology I compiled and supervised a program to deepen and make concrete a number of possible innovations. With this I brought in a lot of inside-out thinking.
